Mac4Lin යන ව්යාපෘතිය කවුරුත් දන්නා ව්යාපෘතියක්, එහි හිමිකරු විසින් Mac4Lin ver.1.0 RC නිකුත් කර ඇත. මෙය නම් මම දැකපු හොදම Desktop Customization ව්යාපෘතියයි. කොතරම් ලස්සනද කිවහොත් කියල වැඩක් නෑ. මේ පින්තූර බලන්න. ඒ වගේම ඔබත් ලස්සනට ඔබගේ ඩෙස්ක්ටොප් එක තියාගන්න කැමතිනම් Mac4Lin අදම ස්ථාපනය කර ගන්න. මෙන්න Link එක http://sourceforge.net/projects/mac4lin/.
All of Linux peoples know about Mac4Lin Project. Anirudh has been released Mac4Lin ver.1.0 RC. Actually this is the one I have seen fully Desktop Customization software. nothing to tell about that. ආ… මම මේක පාවිචිකරා, ඇත්තටම හොදයි, හැබැයි මම ඉතින් කැමති KDE නිසා, වැඩිය බාවිතා කරේ නෑ….
මම පාවිච්චි කරන්නෙ උබුන්ටු Hardy. මමත් දාල බැලුව. හරිම අගෙයි. නමුත් මම පුද්ගලිකව මේ පෙනුමට අකමැති නිසා මම මගේ පරණ තීම් එකම දැම්ම. එත් පොඩි ප්රශ්නයක්. Window වල Icon එකයි buttons 3 යි වම දකුණ මාරු වෙලා. ඒක නම් තාම හදා ගන්න බැරි වුනා …….
කොහොම වුනත් Apple look එකට කැමති Linux use කරන කට්ටියට මේක හරිම අපූරු වේවි.
මම නම් දිගටම භාවිතා කරන්නෙ Mac4Linග ඒ වගේ මම KDE වලට වඩා Gnome වලට කැමතියි, ඇයිද මන්ද. Gnome භාවිතා කරන්න පහසුයි වගේ, අනික පෙර නිමියෙන්ම එන නිසා Gnome වලට පුරුදුවුනාද මන්ද..:)

Apple කාල නැති බලල නැති අයට මැෂින් එකට ඇපල් දාගන්ඩයි වෙලාව….
ම්ම්ම්…. නෑ ලිනක්ස් එක ඇපල් වගේම කරගන්ඩයි චාන්ස් එක.
හරි අවුල ලිහා ගත්ත
gconf-editor එකේ /apps/metacity/genaral/button_layout එක හැදුවහම හරි ගියා.
තවත් එකක් කියන්න ඕන, මමත් වැඩියෙන්ම කැමති GNOME තමයි. ඒක හරිම සරලයි.

මම ස්ථාපනය කරල තියෙනව. ඒ වගේම හොදට වැඩ කරනව. හැබැයි x86 වලට හරියන මෘදුකාංග තමා සොයාගන්න අපහසු.

ඔව් මල්ලි, Ubuntu 8.04 වල. හොදට වැඩ කරනව, ඒ වගේම ඕනෑම එකක දාන්න පුළුවන්.
The main Mac4Lin sourceforge.net has been updated with new themes. These themes fix the “Engine Error” in the newest version of GNOME. The pack includes an updated installation script which does not attempt to set the GDM theme autmatically. Also, a user contributed Mac4Lin uninstall script is now included in the pack.
Thanks a lot Anirudh for informing about that, I couldn’t use Linux OS after long time, Coz. now only with Microsoft technologies. but I hope upgrade Mac4Lin to new version.
