Today I’m writing about tool which we can be used in cross-platform development. Actually it can be Develop using Microsoft .Net (VB or C#) and can be deployed in Java Tomcat server. That enables Microsoft-skilled developers to quickly and efficiently develop Java EE Web applications, portal applications, and Web services.

Before you install Mainsoft for Java EE™ you must install Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2005 Service Pack 1 (KB926601) and developer edition can be downloaded in www.mainsoft.com website.

How Create a new project and Run It ?

First you will open Visual Studio .Net 2005 and create new Project in “Visual C# for Java EE” or “Visual Basic for Java EE” Project Type.

Write your codes using Microsoft C# or VB.Net.

Finally run it.

If you selected project is console application then u can run directly. If you selected project is web application make sure Tomcat service is working.
